  • SEMA 2010 - From My Perspective

Here are some of the images I captured while walking around SEMA this year. It’s always a great show with tons of amazing cars!

Is that what you are supposed to do when you are wet sanding and go a little too far, just take it all off?

I Love the way it looks!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

            I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
            Remove swirls my friends.

Here's another angle of the same car, showing the texture achieved in the finish.

How was that achieved? It's really awesome.

One can only assume it was done with some sort of abrasive disc/pad on a rotary or D/A tool, but since we never did talk to the builder the exact process is not known to us.

That's a wild looking Camaro. Got any more pics of that beast?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

That Cadillac was by far my favorite car at the show....the interior was amazing!

Unfortunately, I only took a few pictures of that Camaro at the GM booth, and that is the best of them...

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words about the pictures.

I agree that Cadillac was something else! I talked with the guys that were associated with it and they said it was on the Car Crazy where Barry went to New Zealand. I have yet to check out that episode...
