  • Update.....

We laid Dad to rest to be with the Lord on August 5th. I thank you guys for the kind words. He was buried with his aunt, mom and close cousin in Clear Lake CA. It was a hard time for us, but the last two weeks I spent with him were great, we had some great talks and he told me he was proud of me. 16 years as a Correctional Deputy made him proud. That was all I ask, during the trying years of a teenage boy surviving my first born as a young man and making it in a decent job with great benefits kept him happy.

We had tons of family around us and dad died peacefully and with no pain.

I will cherish the memories. Oct 6th, we had a memorial and I gave some good dad stories to which we went on many adventures as the oldest, we were all laughing at my stories, we celebrated his life, not his death. The family is doing great and hanging in there. He will be missed.

At this time, I am separated from my wife and living with my Mom during days off and staying with a co-worker on work days. It helps my mom as she has a hard time with dad gone doing dad things (water pumps, maint on cars etc etc).

I did grab most of my detailing stuff and my mom and sister need a full detail on their cars. I did wash up my sisters car and it looked beautiful.

Expect a write up in the future when I get all my marbles together!

Thanks again guys, you are the greatest.

Good to be back. But I'm on nights and traveling 1 1/2 hours to work when I show up so, a write up won't be in the near future, but plan on it before the cold weather really hits.

Thanks guys, appreciate it.....In the meantime, I've been running/walking 3 miles a day, lost 50lbs and those who know me and love me have seen it...."did you lose weight or get a bigger house?"

It's been a trying month, but either we will work it out or not. I will continue to seek him and read his word.
