    Mirror Etched Warning

    So this is quite random but I can't figure it out.

    We all know how that passenger sideview mirror has the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear".

    Anyone know how to safely remove that?

    I've heard lacquer thinner. I've heard razor blade, WD40. I've also heard it can't be done.

    All help and input welcome! Thanks guys!

    It may depend on the manufacturer as to what may work. I've gone over mirrors with razor blades and it didn't do anything to the warning. I've machine polished with a cutting pad and M150 on a rotary and haven't affected the warning, either.
