  • Take a guess at my new project....

Besides the obvious being brakes.... it involves my truck, and these 28lb rotors. Anyone wanna guess what these are off of?

Yupp, the rotor is an OEM chrysler product. Which is a pretty big hint lol

They're six lug.... most 3/4 ton trucks are 8 lug.

Whatever it is it won't be able to stop very well.

Correct! Gen3 Viper rotors. Doing a viper brake swap on the truck. Should help it stop a little quicker Going to be a huge upgrade since I'm going from 1 piston calipers in the front and drums in the rear to full sized srt 4 piston viper disk brakes on all 4's.

That should stop great now. I figured with the 6 lugs it was a Viper. They are about the only car that has 6 lugs from Dodge.

Yeah the Dakotas and vipers share the same Lug pattern so the swap is fairly easy to do really. I'll dig this thread back up when I'm done and post some finished pictures.

AWESOME! I love your truck. Feel free to post pics daily if you'd like.

Although I was hoping to open this thread and see a hair dryer.

Cool project. Can't wait to hear about the end result. It will certainly be a dramatic difference.
