    WalMart Report

    Last night at WalMart:
    32oz Quik Detailer - $4.00
    48oz Ultimate Wash and Wax - $8.00
    48oz Gold Class Wash - $4.00
    22oz Ultimate Quik Detailer - $8.00

    I grabbed the last 5 bottles off the shelf of QD and one of GC wash. I may go back and grab more Gold Class...winter approaches.

    Why so much QD? Why not just buy a gal. of Last Touch for $20? Just curious. Is there a particular reason?

      Good point. Not that I do that many cars, but I give them to friends after cleaning their cars for bird bombs. Easy for me and gives them a bottle with a full label.

        our walmart has lowered the price on Ultimate W&W too. It's been $8 for quite a while. Not sure if they are going to continue to carry the products through the cold months or not. I'm going to make a trip tomorrow to see if there's any further reductions.

          WalMart in RI has been doing the same to the UW&W. It went from "on sale" at $8 to "regularly priced" at $8. I'm not sure how long it will stay this way, but it gives me hope!

            I use LT almost exclusively for my QD, but I can see the advantages of using UQD as well. The driver's side of my car gets hit by sprinklers 3x a week. I usually have time to dry the panels before I leave for work, but I usually have to follow up with LT to remove the faint spotting that follows. I think with UQD and it's hydrophobic properties, maybe the faint spotting would be eliminated if I applied it prior to the sprinkling?

              The walmart here keeps dropping the price of gold class soap by a dollar a week it seems like. It's at $3 now so I'm waiting til it gets down to $2 cause they have tons of it lol
