  • Get well, Barry!

Autoweek's reporting that Barry Meguiar was hospitalized yesterday and he's in serious condition in the intensive care unit of Monterey Community Hospital.

Mr. Meguiar's a great ambassador for the car industry and, as a bonus, a fabulous spokesman for family values.
Get well, Barry. Heaven's full of great guys, we need you here!

      Re: Get well, Barry!

Just found out the news myself from Forrest over at Mother's...

Barry's been an inspiration to me and I'm sure many on this forum and millions of people around the world, he was also the man that gave me a chance as a writer back in 2002, so I'm forever grateful to him.

Lets everyone keep him and his family in your prayers...

This makes me sad. I feel a real connection with Barry even though I've never met him.

                  It's that Car Guy thing...

                      Re: Get well, Barry!

                      Hello Everyone,

We want to take a moment to bring you up to speed on Barry.

As many of you may have heard or read, Barry was admitted to the hospital over this past weekend. It appears he picked up a viral infection during his international travels for Car Crazy.

Barry is currently in stable condition and improving. He hopes to return to the LA area in the next few days.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. We will make sure they are passed along to Barry.
