Just a heads-up, although that site does censor swearing, it's still heavily used.

So if you don't like suggestive censoring, you should avoid the link.

Man oh man do I appreciate the family-friendly forum Meguiar's works so hard to keep.

It doesn't matter how much the car was or how new it is, it doesn't make people knowledgeable about detailing and proper care and maintenance.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

            Wow.....just....bleeping.....WOW!!!

Some are complaining that keeping their car clean is becoming a chore....WOW!!

            Using Dawn....scrub brushes....brass brushes......WOOOW!!

Using car soap instead of dish soap is a waste of money........WOW!!

Couple coats of ole NXT and soon after very little shine and no beading.....PRICELESS!!!

I think someone over there needs to tell them that it's all in the prep to getting their SHO to shine like no other........awwww wait a minute.....that would be a CHORE!!

            Lawdy lawdy lawdy!!!
For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.

Agreed on the language Mark- glad you added that in there, I didn't even think of that. Part of the reason after I sold my 10th and last SHO that I don't frequent over there anymore. It's nice being able to let my boy sit next to me when I'm on here since he likes to see the car pictures and not worry about what his eyes might see or read.

My favorite was regarding the toughness of paint- "I take my car to an automatic car wash- a good one"

Although they do have touch chip-resistant paint, scratches and scuffs from a car wash are still going to happen.

Had to chuckle when the master mind behind this comment (who claimed it's a conspiricy from the soap companies) goes on to say: "I would rather go to the dentist than detail my car. I wash each myself maybe once a year, the rest are automatic cars washes. When I was young, I actually enjoyed this ****, now it's a chore. I like them clean and looking good, but it's not worth my time anymore."

This is the kind of guy who posts an ad claiming the car is "MINT!!" and will argue the swirls / RIDS are "normal" due to age.

I cringed imagining a brass brush on plastic trim... especially when he describes it as "digging INTO" the plastic.

Somebody should SHO them proper technique!

HA! I'm sorry, I had to.
