Ok I would like to start learning about automotive refinishing painting. I went with my buddy to a PPG paint store and there was so much going on I didn’t even know what was what. Essentially I do not have a firm grasp on anything involving aftermarket refinishing. Does anyone have any good links or suggestions on literature to which I should attain?? Thanks in advance!

Your local trade schools / community colleges have paint classes. In addition, the paint companies also have schools. Speak with your local paint store for more info on those.

There are also all kinds of books you can read like "Automotive Paint HandbooK" by John Pfanstiehl / HP Books....
