any photoshop people here?

ive spent last night teaching myself to use photoshop 7
god it hard - was wondering if any1 had some good tutorials they could point me to

i know i probably could of done it in word etc but its my first time trying photoshop & its good to learn these things.
I've learnt to do seamless joins between 2 images & how to erase stuff and cover it up nicely
its all good fun

EDIT - did i mention i bought a company? i left my job as an estimator to run a detailing company. I've taken the site down for a couple of days til i get the new version up with online appointments etc...

Yup, I run the multimedia section on another website (www.ls1tech.com). Do lots of photoshop requests for people. Used to have lots more time to work with photoshop, but with my new job, I have very little time

wow guys! have you been doing this for long?
do you make your textures or is there a good place where they can be acquired? it really is quite time consuming just like detailing .... im photoshopping everything at the moment just to get some skills....

"The Photoshop Book: For Digital Photographers" by Scott Kelby

He takes a no nonsense approach!!

You are very welcome!! It is an excellent book! He evens shows an awesome trick on how to enlarge small photos to almost poster size with little loss of resolution!
