I'm glad they got this oxygen thief off the streets and in prison where he won't be able to reek havoc on the puplic.....ohh wait we'll be paying for his 3 hots and a cot!!

Hopefully your daughter can rest a little easier knowing that this clown is behind bars where he belongs!

Some of you may have seen this last week on the news.........

This is the dirtbag (being nice for the forum) that carjacked my daughter!

    She identified him yesterday.

Washington, D.C. news, weather, traffic and sports from FOX 5, serving the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Watch breaking news live or see the latest videos from programs like Good Day DC.

There are other videos posted as well, other than fox, just google.

Well that *****! If they do end up coming across her car, I hope they nab the creep that took it from her at the same time. That will at least make it worth it -- the car can always be traded for something else.

    Re: Daughter Car Jacked!

Ok, Wednesday my daughter talked to the detective working her case. Working backward from her incident and the other attempt at getting another car that I mentioned before.

He arrived at the Post Office in another stolen car where he hit and damaged a parked car. This stolen car was traced back to Dallas where he left another stolen car at that location. They don’t have anymore information past that yet, nor do we know what the time line is for all of that.

So, we’re guessing they could run across her car at some point before the 30 days needed for the insurance to pay, being it doesn’t sound like he is involved in some kind of grab and chop operation, which is really not what we want to happen at this point.

Wow that's pretty scary especially for a young girl. Glad to hear she wasn't hurt. I agree on not getting the car back. That was a traumatic experience.

I hope they catch this dirt bag and put him away. Also, have her look into getting a pepper spray key chain as they only run around $13-$15 and it's something she can have for the future if anything arises.

Pepper spray until she hits 21 and then have her sign up for her CHL.

    I'm glad she wasn't hurt.

That is so scary. There was another car jacking in Dallas today.

Scary Scary. I am in Valley Ranch over by Irving and feel safe here and at work, but whenever I go anywhere else I am very very leary of folks.

As these things go, probably not. With that lifestyle though he'll get what he deserves sooner or later I'm sure.

Yeah.... Alots of emotions.... Once you hear the important part though, that being your loved one is fine, then there is only one emotion and that isn't something I can describe here on the family friendly MOL.

One of the most fearful things about being a parent is not being there when your child needs you and that was the case here. I'm sure this won't have happened if I were there, you know this coward was looking for someone he could overpower easily. If I would have been there he would have learned real quick that I have a very unique set of skills that would have been a detriment to his plan.

Anyway, we should be getting her rent car today so she'll back out in the world.
And at this point we're hoping the car isn't found, I don't think we/she wants it back not knowing what it's been through and the car itself being a reminder of what happened. Like ca2kjet said " It's always that feeling of being violated that you have to get over." and I think having a different car will help.

    Thanks again everyone...............
