I had my windows tinted at 15% which over factory tint brings it down to around 8-10% on a tint gun. I have only had one car windshield done and that was when I was young and doing tint myself. Both my Jeep and Sonata now have dark all around and never have I gotten a ticket. knock on wood!

I recommend it!

No darker than 50 though.

I've been in vehicles with 35% and 20% on the windshield. They were AWESOME, but they also lived in a larger city that was lit up a lot more at night....I would def have to stick to 50% due to country roads, as they get DARK at night.
