Change can be good, but at the same time, it can be saddening. They say that it can make your life better, or flip it on its lid for the worse. However, at this time, it is my time to tell you all (especially all you Chevy lovers), that my truck is no longer with me. It has not been wrecked, nor has the engine gone up in smoke...instead, she has been sold. Yes you heard me right, S-O-L-D for $3000 cash. Now before you break out the chainsaws and axes, and heaven forbid anything else, to come hack me apart for, what in your minds, was a retarded decision, let me explain.
My priorities in life are as follows: God, Family, GF, Detailing Business, and Cars, and so on and so forth. So as you can see, cars are not as up there as some of you might think. However, that being said, I still loved my Suburban to death. The thing is, that the places I drive and things I do in my vehicles, were not what that Suburban was meant for. I do a lot of city driving, not a whole lot of highway driving, and to be frank, that truck was meant to work, not to toodle around the city at 30 mph. The gas was getting very expensive and maintaining it was a massive task, since I'm more the detailing type, and not so much the mechanic. So the person who bought it from me, currently uses it as a work truck, hauling equipment for his business, using it to its full potential. He's happy and so am I. I'll miss the Suburban a lot and I have a BOATLOAD of photos still on my computer, but it was time for it to move on. It had lived a wonderful life with my family, and we all loved it, but she needed to be worked a little bit, and that's just what she's doing now. So if you are in the DFW area, or down the way in Houston, TX, be on the lookout for her.
It's been 2 weeks since the deal went down, and now it's time to buy my next car. Not telling what it is yet, but you'll soon see what it is. So with that being said, I bid you adieu for tonight and I will be on another day soon.
