  • PICTURES from Barrett-Jackson Orange County!

Today was the first official day of the Barrett-Jackson auction in Orange County, California. In fact, this was the first Barrett-Jackson auction in Orange County! I had the amazing opportunity to be a helping hand to the guys at Meguiar's.

All I can say is Man what a blast! It was awesome seeing all of these pristine classics and being able to wipe them down. I was stationed at the Demo Booth where Mike Stoops was giving seminars on various topics throughout the day. He did seminars on How to Clay, How to Restore Headlights, and How to use the DA.

I was privileged with wiping down the cars that were Meguiar's Sponsored throughout the day that were parked next to the Demo Booth. Meguiar's also had one of their Big Rig show truck set up with products available to purchase. I got a tour of the inside of the truck, and boy is that thing killer!

They guys at Meguiar's were fun and great to work with and I'd like to thank them again for letting me in on this opportunity.

I snapped some pictures from around the general area we were stationed in. I'm heading back tomorrow just as a spectator, so I'll snap some more pictures for you guys to take a look at because there are a TON of cars there!

    Enjoy!

    I LOVED This Nomad!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.

Awesome pics, Andrew. Lucky you helping out Meguiar's. I am sure they kept you busy. But it looks like you had a good time.

Going Back today in just a few minutes, but just as a spectator this time. I'll snap some more shots and try to get some of the actual auction as well!

I liked the shots of the inflatable Meguiars products on top of the big rig. Those things are cool looking. Yes, I liked the cars too... just sayin'.

            Update!

Day 2 of Barrett-Jackson was today and I snapped some more pictures of everything going on. I stopped by the Meguiar's booth and said hi to the guys, but no wiping down today, just enjoying seeing the cars... and getting free stuff!

            Here are some more pictures:

Guess who put a shine on this wagon?? This belongs to Larry the lead organizer for www.veterancarshow.com

Most cars at the auction were overwhelmingly bad. Swirls, scratches, and sloppy detailing was prevalent.

I also did swing by the Meguiars demo area. Mike and Jessy were turning out the shine as fast as they could. Great job fellas!

                    Great stuff, Andrew!

Thanks for coming out and helping us maintain the cars during the event. Everyone commented on your dedication, professionalism, product knowledge and ability to talk to people about Meguiar's and car care in general. We knew we chose you for a reason - you rock!

Joe, that Chrysler wagon looked stunning and was a big crowd favorite at our car corral. And now we know why!
