I wasn't going to post so late, but today is the anniversary of D-Day, and I wanted to throw my two cents worth in too.
My grandfather fought in WWI, and my father was part of the occupying force in Italy after WWII, but I never served in the military myself, so I don't know what that life was like.
I thought I was going to be drafted and sent to Vietnam, but the draft was done away with just before I came of age.r. b.Comment
