I was looking at stuff for my next AutoGeek order, and I read this intro for Finish Care

Finish Kare was founded in 1964 by Floyd Meguiar, after he left the family business. Preceded by an already-rich history in car care, Meguiar set out to develop car care products that were the best of their kind. Over the last four decades, Finish Kare has been used to protect or restore millions of vehicles by auto professionals. Now you can put Finish Kare's surface science to work for you.

Maybe I'm behind the times, but this was news for me, and I thought it was interesting and shared it.

Yup! You are just a tad bit behind.

If you looking for some really good products by FinishKare their #425, 1000p Hi-Temp, and tire dressing are top-notch!

Pink Wax is also a great product as well.

Pink wax is good stuff too. Easy on, easy off nice deep look. I just didnt mention it because it smells strongly of turpentine. 1000P is tolerable but pink wax is some heavy stuff.

I was looking at their 218 and 425 right now. Anyone use 218?

No experience with 218 but I've read a lot of people didn't like it. It looked average, didnt really last and required a lot of product because it seemed to just absorb into the paint.

Really? That's a bummer. 31oz for $20 didn't sound too bad. I may pick it up anyway, and report back.

just got some 1000p, tried it on my carbon fiber hood and oh man, awesome stuff. this is coming from a guy who has all of meguiars waxes, wolfgang fuzion, dodo waxes, pinnacle souveran, and so on. very very impressed. not to mention, i tried it on my rear clip(silver metallic)and it really made the metallic flakes "pop".

FK108 is a great water based dressing that makes your tires a matte finish after the first day. I have had it last 1 month+ with heavy rains. It takes a long time for them to brown again and there is usually no brown run off when cleaning them either

Well I just read that if you only put down 1 coat of #218 it won't be that great, that a 2 coat minimum is the way to go. That #425 looks very tempting. 128 oz for $25 is a good deal for what everyone says about it.

I think it was more of a racing, or bike, or something like that product line at first, so a bit different from Meguiars.
