Well, I have decided to buy an older truck seein as Uncle Sam is givin me some decent change back. Narrowed it down to 1967-1971 Ford Fullsize mostly F250's since I can't find too many 100's.
Found a 1970, white with some dents of course. 360ci and C6 auto. Owner says its registered until January 2011 so it is a driving vehicle which is what I want. Also states, "the truck is about 99% rust free. there is surface corrosion in several spots, but no real rust rot anywhere." The bed is supposedly the only spot of surface rust. Going to look at it today and check the roof corners, door corners, etc...but what would be the most effective way of removing rust? And the A/C doesn't work...prob just needs to be charged since the compressor works. He is asking $1200
