05 Tundra 4L V6 6-speed: 23.7 mpg hwy.

On a state highway today, with many dozens of stops, averaging about 50 mph, we went 346 miles on 14.6 gallons = 23.7 mpg.
Mixed city/hwy, it has gone 1315 miles on 65.6 gallons = 20.0 mpg.
Its advertised numbers are only 16/20.

I posted this here to help anyone thinking about a new truck.

Pump your tires up to max sidewall pressure. This will be good for another 1 or 2 mpg. Just watch for uneven tread wear.
