Re: wire question for a car..
If they're going to be external, make sure the product is rated for external use. Many LEDs i've seen for the "grille" are rated for internal use only, which is basically useless.
What kind of car are you using? Do you want them to be on all the time? Or would you prefer they be switched... There are a number of options for you.
LED lights are very low power so you could probably hook them up to any power signal in the car (behind the stereo perhaps) and it should be fine. I would recommend, however, wiring directly into the fuse box and adding its own fuse. This will make sure you don't void any warranties and allow for a nice clean install.
Give me a little more info and I can probably help some more.

Re: wire question for a car..
yea. in most states they are. however i can use white with no problems...if i want to use amber i have to apply for a permit...(i just applied) as for red i can get that too but my permit would have to be notorized and as for blue. blue is a no no to everyone excpet marked cars....
