Very cool. I think that was something Mike wrote about a while back. Still pretty cool.

Yeah I saw part of it the other day, the other night I watched some of his How-To videos on his new company's website, too bad (for us) that he moved over there.

I think that Michael Stoops is doing VERY competent job here. Also, _communities_ (and MOL _is_ a _community_) are result of _many_ people, and I still see many knowledgable detailers contributing to MOL. Tim Lingor and Superior Shine Joe, just to name few.

BTW where are you from Zoran?

I would have to agree with you Zoran, Michael has and is doing a stellar job. When I left I even recommended him as my replacement because of his passion for the craft and the professional way he conducts himself both on the forum and in person.
(I don't know if that helped)

And if you read through the posting history of either of these guys on any forum you'll find a record of professional, courteous and always helpful and friendly posts.

Thanks for the kind words my friend..... as for whether your recommendation helped or not, well, I got the position didn't I?

But that position has spread to doing seminars at the various Barrett-Jackson events around the country, working with magazines and online entities when they come to Meguiar's looking to do car care articles and stories, and doing new product demos for large retailers as we work with them planning the coming year. Add Facebook to that and I'm kept pretty darn busy. Oh, I may not be coming into everyone's living rooms via Speed Channel like some people we all know , but I'm still spreading the word and helping achieve shiny paint so it's all good!

                    Re: Mike Phillips on tv

I have to say that in the relatively short time that I have been digging deeper into the black art of car detailing in general and paint polishing specifically, Mike^2 (read Mike-squared) have been great resources of knowledge, guidance and general mentoring to the car detailing enthusiasts on the forums.

Let me re-phrase that. Not black art as something malevolent, more of a deep, secret art.

Hear hear! Mike Phillips was the "main man" here on MOL when I first joined and I have to say that Michael Stoops does just as great a job.

Now you just have to get your own TV segment as well Mike !

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
