So I was headed to the bowling alley for my monday night league and I have to drive by a automatic car wash on the way. I see a person standing at the end of the tunnel figured it was a worker drying off the water that is left from the blow dryers. So as I am passing I see that it is the owner standing there holding up her mirror that the 8 or 9 dollar car wash just broke off. Guess lesson learned if your going to do the automatic at least you can do is a touchless one. I wish I had my camera the picture would of been priceless

Re: Automatic car wash mishap please read
Why do you think most car washes have a big sign saying something to the effect of; NOT responsible for damage incurred while using this facility! Or, use of facility is at own risk! There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

The mirror isn't supposed to come off when you wash? All this time, I thought I was doing it right
Aside from the potential for damage, I just never thought the drive through wash touch or touchless did a very good job of getting a car clean, and that was before I became an MOL junkie.

I've never ever once taken my car through a car wash, even before I joined MOL and learned how to wash my car properly.Shane
