Hey all, please pay extra attention while you are driving. Now that spring is upon us and warmer weather is here there are motorcyles everywhere. I saw a guy get t-boned on his bike today on my way home from the office. It is for that reason I no longer ride. So please pay extra attention.

I can't agree with ya any more! I think we've finally broke out of the winter slump here in Pa. With that....EVERY motorcycle/crotch rocket, pocket rocket, muscle car, young, old, fast eddy, and driving miss daisy type of person is out in full force.
We've had a bunch of MC MVA's here in the county in the past two weeks but fortunately none have been fatal.......yet. Unfortunately it's only a matter of time before we do get one.
Up the road in Harrisburg they just banned cell phones while driving. I was up there over the weekend and it doesn't seem people really care. O'well, they'll find out the hard way when it's too late.

California too, but riders have to help us out as well. Shooting the gap between cars (which is illegal in California - much to my surprise) speeding, lane dipping, and cutting in front of cars contributes to the likelihood of something bad happening. Also, if I'm on a two wheeled conveyance that's only a fraction of the weight of the 4 wheeled conveyances, I'm for sure going to have my headlight(s) on.

I agree, this morning as a matter of fact this guy on a bike zoomed right by my driver side door and scared the **** out of me and we were both just getting on the freeway. Cut every car off until he got to the carpool lane, crazy. So we both have to be careful out there. With smart phones on the rise people are not only checking their calls, texts but emails and everything else these smart phones are capable of while driving.

My dad always says when you drive a car there are layers of steel protecting the flesh, when you ride a motorcycle there are layers of flesh protecting the steel. I saw a motorcyclist getting sandwiched between two cars last year on some reservation trail, scary stuff!

I've always called those folks that ride in and out of traffic on crotch-rockets ROAD KILL. They always wind up splattered all over the road.

Cell phones have been banned here in NY for a long time, problem is...the law is not enforced!!!
