I've given up on waiting for UWW. I guess by 2011 Meguiar's should finally ship it to Northern Cali. And for new 2011 Products, I'll wait until 2012 to get it. And by 2012 the world is going to end anyhow (maybe it's the day all the detailers in the world detail at the same time.)

LOL! I know, right? When I saw it my eyes lit up like it was Christmas time! My tiny little town never gets anything new I was very surprised that it is up here! A Pep Boys in Sac has the new GC wax. Tognotti's has all of the new products actually, but they charge full retail and then some sometimes. It was so tempting not to get UWW and UP from them, but I'm glad I waited since the UWW is going to cost me about $9 cheaper since I bought it at Wal-Mart with the rebate.

The other day I had to wash my Mustang. As I am finishing drying, it sprinkles for about 5 minutes. Just enough to ruin the freshly washed paint.

Yesterday morning, I checked the weather for the day. Sunny. Today had a 40% chance of a light sprinkle in the afternoon. Then sunny for the next like 8 days. I'm excited. I clean the Neon engine with some soap and water, then dress it with CD2. I gently and lovingly wash the paint with UWW. I scrub the wheel wells and tires with some degreaser and a brush. I wash the wheels with UWW. I dry it with Last Touch and a MF drying towel, making sure I get every crevice dried out. Dried each wheel and lug nut and lug hole. I put ASD on every millimeter of trim and in the wheel wells. I put a nice coat Hot Shine Tire Coating on the tires. The car looks better than it has in a few months.

Fast forward to this afternoon from yesterday, around 1PM. Rain and lots of it. Then hail. Then more rain, more hail, and still more and even more rain. Still going I think 6 hours later.

        I give up, lol

At least it kept raining so you didn't have the temptation to get back out there and wipe it dry ... only to have it rain a few hours later.

Checked the forecast Saturday night. no rain until late night Thursday. washed both cars Sunday. This morning wife is leaving for work. Starts drizzling. Now the revised forecast calls for intermittent showers till Friday. Can't win.
