I knowwww! We only got 6 inches snow here, but still crazy!!! It seems February is our "snow month". Rarely in December or January, but come Feb -- watch out!

Over here in Grapevine, we got 12.5"! Crazy stuff! Couldn't believe it! Forecasters said a possibility of 1", and that was a big maybe. Guess they got that wrong!

Believe me I feel your pain. In the last four winters combined in Philadelphia we got 65 inches of snow. This winter we got 71.5 inches of the wonderful white stuff (not) with another storm predicted to hit Monday night into Tuesday with another possible 8 inches. 8 inches isn't that bad but we got over 40 inches in the last 2 weeks and more will only compound travel. There is just no where to put it all and it isn't melting as it has been very cold here.
The Impala is buried behind the minivan.
The main road outside my apartment.
Can you say buried!!!
My driveway leading into the complex.
I really can't wait for spring!!!!

Holy smokes that is a lot of snow - this global warming stuff is really cooking!
That's funny right there!!!! Yeah, last year(winter 08), there was supposed to be some big meeting in Washington D.C. about the affects of global warming, they ended up canceling it due to COLD weather. It was supposed to be an outside thing. Then this year they get over 30" of snow. If the polar bears are really suffering as they say, maybe they should be moved to the white house front lawn...they'd be right at home!
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?
I loved the snow when it hit! Had two days of school canceled (cant beat that) so went back home before the main snowfall and down in Waxahachie we got 14 inches! Also got the mailman stuck in our yard LOL!
I had a blast though, we found some good hills and went sledding, snowball fights, and built a snowman just shy of 8ft Made me wanna go snowboard though haha! Love the snow!
