How many of you that live where it snows a lot? It *****! Specially when you can't give your car a nice wash and wax. LOL! Can't wait for the weather to get better so I can spend hours on my car.

I do not live in the "snow belt", but as cold and as snowy as it has been here in the midwest, not as bad as what you have had, I can hardly wait to have some fun in the WARM SUN!! I can only detail my wife's appliances sooo many times.

Here in N.B. Canada, winter is long and can be very cold, but we do get some days that you can wash your car outside. The problem is you still have to drive it and it never fails to snow the day after you washed it.

Just like in the summer. If you wash your vehicle, you can be sure it going to rain SOON! Too bad indians didn't have cars to detail 200 years ago, they wouldn't have had to do that silly rain dance!
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Yes, I know how you feel. None of our cars has been touched since about the middle of January. Here's a few pics from January 30 (I believe that was the date) from that big snow storm we had.

Although, our daily drivers are pretty dirty (obviously), but they could be a lot worse. I have M16 on one car, and Collinite 845 on the other two, and so far it is holding up very nicely. I would recommend both of these waxes for winter waxes.

Both cars look pretty clean actually. Especially the silver one. Seems like a lot of folks are using M16 as their winter wax, I only used M16 once and was not all that impressed with it. Have you had M16 outlast NXT Generation Tech Wax?

Actually, both of those cars have Collinite 845 on them. The 1990 Accord has M16 on it. Of the 3 cars that sit outside and are daily drivers, the 1990 Accord is the dirtiest right now. Of course, that is most likely due to the fact that it is the most frequently driven of the 3, not necessarily an indicator that it is inferior to the Collinite. The real test will come when I am able to wash the cars and see how well the beading is. We have had a lot of rain, and all 3 have been beading pretty well, but that is on a dirty car. It may be better or worse once all the surface dirt is removed. As far as M16 vs. NXT 2.0, I would say that M16 beats it in durability, but NXT 2.0 beats M16 in slickness, looks, and ease of application and removal. Beading seems to be similar for both. But that is why I chose to top NXT 2.0 with M16, to maximize the protection.

It seems like this is a extreme winter. I know I can't wait for it to end.

We've had more snow this year then in the past 3 or so years combined! Only 4 inches away from breaking the all time winter snowfall record, and as cold as it's been I have no doubts it'll happen.
I'm cold blooded and can't take this cold weather anymore! If we get another winter like this next year, I just may have to move down to Texas!!

I'm ready for May and thunderstorms!
