Chrome Users - Help Embedding Youtube Video's

Any Chrome users out there able to successfully embed Youtube videos into your posts? I can do it with Windows Explorer with no problem, but can't seem to get them to show up with Chrome.

Since I do all my Forum browsing in Chrome I would like to get it figured out if possible.

Embed them into this forum? Embedding them is a function of the forum itself, not the browser. Or are you saying you can't view them in this forum with Chrome.

I've tried but a video can't be inserted using the URL.

Perhaps they need to be added as attachments. Right now, for me, this is disabled.

I was able to embed this video using IE. I am unable to get it to embed with Chrome.






Anyone using Chrome able to do embed a YouTube video?

Using chrome here. It wont embed for me on MOL but on AG it doesnt have a problem.

It's just code (text in this case) that the forum uses... I don't see why a person's browser would make a difference.

I went to youtube, copied the embedding code and pasted it into this message.

All Internet browsers are written differently and behave a little differently. Embedding a video is much different than copying in text. Even though it looks like it's just pasting in text.

Looks like your copy of Chrome works better than mine.

Using chrome here. It wont embed for me on MOL but on AG it doesnt have a problem.

I will have to try AG and see it works for me there.

All Internet browsers are written differently and behave a little differently. Embedding a video is much different than copying in text. Even though it looks like it's just pasting in text.

Looks like your copy of Chrome works better than mine.

Perhaps I'm missing something but just view a video on youtube, copy the "embedded" text and paste it as text in a message here. The video will link up and be displayed in the message. As I'm looking at it, it's not a function of the browser as it's just text. The forum software determines how it's displayed.

You say it's more then copy/pasting text... but this is all I did. I'm assuming the video in my post displays correctly for you?

Yes your video does display for me.

And as you can see from post #4 I do understand the procedure as it works of me in Window's 7 Internet Explorer. It does not, however, work in Chrome for me.
