Car is taking a beating this winter!!

There is nothing worse then looking at your slush/ice snow packed covered car.

We have had the top ten snowiest winters in SD this year.

I have not washed my car in a month because of cold temperatures.

I drive my daily commute to work and running around town. I see cars like mine, dirty as one can imagine, and I see others spotless clean.. Am I being to careless to wash it or just dont have the heated garage like some of these people have?

Where is the breaking point of being to cold to wash your car?
Is it better to let it be dirty for weeks and wash it by hand when it gets warmer or just taking it to a car wash and having them do it to get half of the junk off hoping it wont freeze overnight?

I took my car in to have some engine work done tonight. We lifted it up.. I just wanted to cry when I seen all the snow and slush and dirt piled up inside the bumper covers and wheel wells...

I have sure let my car go to **** this year with all the snow... I hope I can get her back to normal sooon! Please tell me summer is coming soon

Mine too...I feel your pain!

When my car gets dirty enough and it's just too cold to get out and do anything, I'll take it to a bay car wash and just rinse it real good with water. At least it gets some stuff off. Then when I can, I fill a bucket with hot water and use Optimum No Rinse. I tried it for the first time this winter. IMO, I prefer a real car wash with Meguiar's products, but when it's not practical, this works well.

My cars have not been touched since early Nov. Thank goodness that NXT2 is such a good product. After the last snow started melting, I went out and wiped the snow off our '99 caddi. It looked like I had just washed and waxed it. The only thing I can come up with on why it looked that good was because the wax was just that good!

I feel ya too! I havn't washed either one of my cars in about 3 months. Over here we are on our way to having the snowist winter EVER!

When will it end!!!

Same here man. My truck and wifes cadi look horrible. Been trying to take them to the local coin op just to spray off some of the salt and slush. Had to take my truck into the dealer ship for some work and they were kind enough to wash it for me. However as soon as the weather breaks I am gonna have to spend a lot of time cleaning up the swirls and scratches they put in it from the scotchbrite pad they used to wash it with.

I wouldent mind washing mine, but I am afraid my locks will freeze and wont be able to open the door.. Haha

I guess I have done that just rinse solution before but there again, I dont want the doors to freeze shut. - - Any tricks so they dont freeze?

I hate to do it, but I seen there was a line of cars going through the auto wash on the way home from work..

Is it just me or have I just lost the touch of keeping my car clean.. When I first got it, I was washing it if it was 20 below or not. THis year I have washed it a total of like 3 times this entire winter
