  • Is it May yet??

I'm not much of a winter person, can only stand snow in small amounts.
I havn't been able to any details for 2 months now. I havn't touch either one of my cars since the end of October.....and boy does it show!

Just got 2 feet of snow yesterday and they're calling for another "significant" storm to hit the region by mid week....ie two days from now!
Springs right around the corner according to those little goundhogs...uh huh!!!

.......is it May yet?!?!?! I'm ready for 80-90 degree weather and thunderstorms!!!

Boy do I ever agree with you!!! Here in NY, we haven't really had much snow this year. Most of the winter I've been able to see grass actually. Very weird for a NY winter. However, it has been BITTER cold most of the winter. I personally would rather have snow with warmer temps than the bitter cold. I hear you though...ready to detail outside!!!
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Kimchiyuk I would love to give you my snow! New York is set to be hit with this next storm, I don't know exactly were you are at in the state. I used to like the snow until I joined the army and spent a week out in it in Basic Training.

Since I live in the city, I have no garage to work out of, in the summer I park the cars under two trees in the back alley. Shoveling 2 feet of snow from two parking spots along the street is a real PIA!!

YEAH, please don't take that as an offer to unload your snow! As far as my dislike...kind of the same story...was in the USAF, always in the southern U.S. or a warm climate over seas.

Yeah did my Basic in Ft Knox, Ky. Spent my Active Duty in Ft Hood, Tx. Did two deployments to Iraq and Kuwait in 1999 and '04-'05. Wife says I should be used to the cold weather by now.....Hmmph spend a year in up to 140 degree heat with 60+ pounds of gear on while standing in a steel box going down the highway!! LOL and she complains up a storm when she has to wear nylons!!!

If this keeps up it'll be the snowiest winter ever recorded here! I wonder how Andy M is doing with all this snow!

No offense guys: You can keep all that white stuff. That is one of the reasons I moved from Chicago. Even though I live in Florida it has been a very cold winter. Not by up north standards but by ours. I also can't wait for it to be in the 90's.

Thank you stang, it's MUCH appreciated!

J.A., I'm about ready to move on down there with ya! It's getting really old really quick!!

Well we're at it again! about 8 or so inches fell last night with 12+ expected for today. Blizzard warnings are up to my immediate south and east so I expect us to be placed in it sometime this morning.

I guess my neighbor doesn't like shoveling snow. Her poor Volvo hasn't been cleaned off or dug out no less from the last storm. ***** for her, she's gonna have 40+ inches of heavy snow to dig out!

To all those in the Mid Atl, N England (Philly, B-more/DC, NYC, Providence/Boston.....etc) BE CAREFULL TODAY!!!

Ohh and whoever fixed may to May in the header.....thank you, I couldn't edit it.
