I'm officially upgrading my weather to bad, lol. The wind was pushing my 5,550LB truck all over the road, and the rain has been non-stop pouring since about 8:45AM. I guess it'll be more puddles for me to play in though.

It's snowing harder today, the wind is outrageous, it has shot our Yukon into another lane a time or two on gusts!

My wife was scheduled to do her clinic in Tulelake (Google it, I dare you) and they decided not to go, tons of snow on HWY 97. She stayed in Yreka. I'm glad.

At least the water is filling my favorite fishing holes though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the rain started to turn to slush earlier. It was about 37°F or so. It has warmed up a bit, but only time will tell I suppose. I'm ready for it either way, as long as I don't lose power for 3 full days again!

Sounds like the best plan! It's absolutely crazy out there for us!

Its making me a bit nuts, i have a small creek running by my back gate and thru my horse turn out into a ditch that drains well thankfully.
Havent got the golf cart stuck yet while feeding horses..
Had some fun rompin thru some huge flooded messes in the 250.
otherwise im ready for this to be over.
its monsooning right now, like pouring down insanely hard with crazy winds. my poor horses aint quite happy.
ugh.

Snowing, and gobs of it. We are forecasted to get 2 - 4 ft between noon today and tomorrow evening. Two of the four mountain passes that lead to the valley I live in have already been closed due to adverse conditions. And I get to spend 10 hours a day driving in it. Woo Hoo!!

Snow snow and more snow! I hope it's a snow day tomorrow so I don't have to get up at 7AM, lol! It's been snowing for like 30 minutes and there's about 1/2" already.

Well!!!! There is still a foot or so of snow here from the giant snow storm we had the last 3 weeks. This week it has been in the upper 30's and 40's. Tomorrow we should hit fifty something. Warmest day of the year! And if you think darkness at 3pm is bad, just come here. the sun never comes out! The last time we had a flood was on June 30th. 7 inches of rain in 24 hours. Most of the city was underwater. Just over the hill in another subdivision, there was water nearly up to the seat on my bike. (It's not a low rider bike either) At my house.....NOTHIN! what a let down... Sorry to rant. To put all this junk into perspective, the weather here is UNFAVORABLE and I would like to move somewhere warm so there is NO salt on the roads to rust the rest of my vehicles to a premature death.

I washed my Wife's car and waxed it with some M26... It was looking deep, shiny and reflective... Then 30 minutes later it rained...

Now it just looks like a clean car with water all over it. Also, I'm pretty impressed on how tight the beads are on M26.

Windy and rainy here, work was busy all last week!!!! Hit a pothole on thursday going to work, seperated my sidewall and bent the rim. At work, tree fell on the convertible top....no damage though thank god!!

Also my huge fear of hydrolocking never happened thankfully as well. Cold Air Intake on this car is literally in front of the drivers side tire behind the fog light with only a thin plastic shroud between it and the ground

This is really sad. I saw 7 boats on the beach after the second storm. The one in the background is toast, might be able to recover the Columbia 43 in front.

Ouch, that is sad.

My sister and her husband used to have a 38' Catalina sailboat when they lived in Marina del Rey. The used to charter it out to help cover some costs, and there was even a sailing school that used to teach on it. One weekend a couple chartered it and took it to Catalina Island. They did a really lousy job of mooring it in the harbor and when a storm came up that night it broke free and was slammed into the rocks not far from the old casino on the island. Talk about rolling the dice and losing!!

Anyway, my sister took the insurance money and put it into a 42' Catalina, but decided to longer let it out for charter.
