No cat, but the dog was available. He didn't like it (spooked by the growl of my DA), but you can't but admire the way his fur now catches those sunburst reflections
A few months back I cleaned the windows of my condo, except I went a little overboard. I pulled them out (they're the horizontal slider type), washed them with NXT wash, clayed, cleaned them up with NXT glass cleaner, then put on a coat of UQW. It didn't take very long and now every time it rains they clean themselves. That was back in October and its now January and they're still clear and clean. Next time I think I'll use NXT wax and see how that goes.
Detailers clean places nobody see. Detailer see's things nobody else see. But if you ask a Detailer to see how a dress looks on a woman, they are blind.
If you do detail the cat, let me know which products you used!!!! Just be easy if you use the G110!!!!!!LOL
I like to start with masking thier tail with a little bit of blue painters tape. They'll run around the room and get tired, which makes the claying process easier

I'm just bored and ordering more stuff. Finally broke down and got some Grit Guards, plus the Mothers's tire, wheel and wheel well brush and their little detail brushes. Couldn't pass up 20% at AutoGeek.

I found this and had to post a reply K.C.'s. My wife says that cleaning her stove is a lot easier since I detailed it. I ordered a g110v2 with pad, hope to have it soon. Her stove and washer and dryer are going to get some work done on them. Hey I have to practice .... Right?!
I bought one of those shiny black refrigerators some time ago. I hand waxed it with NXT2.0 and buffed with an extra soft and thick shammy Turned out great! Dont try this with one of those cheap shammys. Also bought a new shark vaccuum and I think I vaccuumed 10 times in the last 5 days.Bored and getting OCD !
I've been out of the detailing scene for a about a couple years or so. And I relate to this thread to a T!!!!!!!!
They shut the whole job down a month ago that I worked at so I come back on here to catch back up.
If any one of you guys or gals on here has been off for that long or longer I feel for you. I spend my day playing with my kids-cleaning or on here and then out night with the wife talking and watching ghoust hunters or antiques shows.
I've cleaned about everthing in our house. Start in the morning and go from there. I to have detailed our washer and dryer- stove, thinking about starting on the refrigerator next. Going for the car in a day or so to try out the outcome of the colorX in 30 degree weather.
I've already went through 32oz of D120 glass cleaner and almost half of the other 32oz (love this stuff) Was looking for anything in here for some #40 just yesterday morning, Haven't come across anything yet!
This made me laugh pretty good, because I've done things like this and my wife thought I lost it!! Too cool Tim!
Anyway thanks for starting it and thanks guys and gals for keeping them coming
