yes, I know this is an odd topic, but I just put my snow tires on today and I want to see what other peoples winter wheels looked like. Shabby or spiffy. =]
sorry it is so random, but it is something to do on a cold winter evening.
here are my winter wheels. they work, so what the heck.
a closer look.
They are extremely useful when you are going down a wet, snowy, icy highway behind a few semi's. That's ice-over an inch thick. Still thawing in the garage.
This was from just about 2 weeks ago. I was either in 4HI or 4LO the entire three days...in which I also didn't have power...and then fell down the staircase. Weee.
Old tires on the truck SUCKED! While this are not as aggressive as I wanted, they really do handle well in the snow. Was going to get the GY Wranglers but Firestone was offering 30% off. Could not pass that up. Again, I really do like the gripping power of these in snow.
