Re: Don't you hate it when?
I don't like it when anyone leans on it or touches it. One of the worst things is when someone writes something like "wash me" or whatever else on it. Also, parking really close to it (I park far away and somehow i'm always a parking magnet) when some doesn't know how to properly park in between the lines.

Re: Don't you hate it when?
Got in my car with dirty sneakers, plopped down heavy objects on my dash, stepped on the hump in my backseat, wiped my freshly polished car with a Carvel napkin, picked at the torn fabic on my visors and brought food/drink in my car. All of these were problems.James - 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais

Oh, I hate it when: signs falls on your car when you're at school and a storm comes through, trash cans blow around and put red paint on a white car, people lean on your car (new care, new rules), when people say "Wow, you're car is nice, I didn't know you had leather" and you've had it for 2 years, when I see a car in the parking lot that got detailed earlier in the day and you see the buffer marks all over it and cringe and think "I could've done it better"-Kyle

Re: Don't you hate it when?
Tracy brought up how people put there fingers on the painted part of the door to close it...that USED TO drive me nuts until i realized theres not much i can do about it except just wipe it down with quick detailer when i get home..i find myself doing it too sometimes...i think what drives me CRAZY the most is when people lean on my car..i dont do it to theres and it just drives me insane..and when people slam the door shutAddicted

Re: Don't you hate it when?
The other day some chuckle head decided he'd had enough of his mocha frappa java choclate whipped half soy whatever it was and emptied his cup out the window while driving ahead of me one lane over. It created this nice spray of coffee all over the driver side of the hood and door of the truck. It dried to a thick, sticky nasty mess that was too much for a shot of QD to handle. Of course, I couldn't wash just that one spot, so I had to redo the whole outside of the truck.

Originally posted by Autobrite View Postlol, judging from the post I read the other day I am huessing you are reffering to your brother. The thing that annoys me is when people get out of my vehicles and grab the door ( on the paint) to close it and leave finger prints. That drives me insane!!! It shows up really bad on black vehicles.) and the napkin guy was someone I was showing the end results of a paint correction to at a car show (potential customer). I was really mad when he did this, he had no clue why.

Re: Don't you hate it when?
It may have not been immediately after a detail, but while parked at college, someone parked directly opposite of me and I guess they are accustomed to rolling forward until their tires hit the parking blocks, except the "parking block" they hit was actually the front of my '97 M3 (I purposely park especially far from parking blocks to avoid this exact scenario. Dodge Intrepids have A LOT of front overhang, apparently). To add insult to injury, they didn't even back up after hitting my car! When I came out to the parking lot later in the day, their car was still touching mine! I filed a report with campus security and they eventually tracked down the owner of the vehicle... turns out it is an employee of the university and she didn't have a license or insurance.

Re: Don't you hate it when?
Is it just me or does a freshly detailed vehicle always attract some meat head with a beater jalopy to park as close as possible, even when you purposly park far away from any other car in the lot? There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?
