    Car Alarm Questions??

    My dad just ordered me the Viper 5901 ststem. I also ordered 2 motion sensors, a luminesent badge, and a voice module? Is this a good system? I need yalls feedback. Thanks
    P.S anyone have a viper they would like to talk about?

    Isn't the 5901 a two way? I hear they're pretty much good, but one thing keeps me from wanting a viper system... The alarm part, it sounds just like every other alarm. But at least you have a pager with the system.

    I've found that alarm antennas work great in the windshield, next to the mirror.
    If you want a hood/trunk switch, DO NOT use the pin type(they require added holes, then corrode), use a mercury switch instead.
    And don't make any extra holes in the metal.
