  • Please Help!! It's a sick obsession!

This is Tracy's (Autobrite) wife. How do you know when a hobby has become an obsession?!? I just walked in to find him waxing our shower! He swears it will help it stay clean longer! Just out of curiosity...has anyone else EVER done something like this?

Haha, the sickness is only just setting in.

Make sure he doesn't wax the part you have to stand on - that could get dangerous.

if he clay bar first , than the surface will be smooth , probably a seal will work better than a wax.
actually on market it is seal for tiles , depends of application

Tracy, this is the first time I hear of any forum member waxing the shower. It definetely needs some specialized medical attention, it could be a serious condition...

I have to admit, I have used A-12 cleaner wax many times in our shower. It does keep the shower cleaner longer.

Hahahaha, my tub was clogged up last week and while I was fighting the loosing battle to unclog it I was looking around thinking.....hmmm I wonder if some wax could brighten and shine up my tub a bit. Then I started debating with myself on which wax to use and if I should to a "full tub" correction!

True story but that's about as far as it went!

Don't worry ma'am....you and your hubby are not alone. My wife feels your pain!!

That's just sick. The only way you can make him stop is to get rid of his car and his car care products. Drive the car, filled with products, to my house. I will gladly "dispose of them" for you.

Look at it this way Tracy - when is the last time he really helped clean the house? Consider this a blessing!

Actually, you might be surprised how many people use Cleaner Wax on bathroom tile, especially in the shower. It does a great job removing any soap film and really gets that tile shining.

Mo worries it has been done before. Kitchen sinks and countertops, tiled showers, I myself clayed, polished and waxed my steel front door. He will be OK.
