  • I can see now!!!!!

    Well guys, heres some pics of what i did this past weekend.











    Had to remove battery and battery tray to make life a LOT easier for the install!!


    One side, light bulb installed


    Battery and tray out on floor


    Light bulb and ballast installed, aslong with relay harness plugged in

    Everything re-installed and relay harness hooked to battery



    Working on installing drivers side, batt & tray removed again for easier access

    I NEED clear lenses, they scatter HORRIBLY, heres a picture of the Lo beams and then Hi beams (Bi-Xenn kit, HID lo and hi in same bulb)

    I was anticipating some top secret Meguiar's products with a case like that.

    HIDs however are awesome. I have them on my 2009 Nissan Maxima and just love them.

      I live my 8k HIDS, it turns heads and it helps visibility...

        Looks great. My Future son-in-law put them on his vehicles. The brightness is a huge difference.

            I've been thinking about doing this for a while now to all my lights. Uses a lot less power than halogens and is obviously brighter.

            Which brand did you go with?

              They scatter more so because you are using them in a reflective housing which isnt the intentional purpose of these types of bulbs. If you really wanted the correct set up you would want to choose some projectors, shrouds, and then the clear lenses. But that is also much more expensive but worth it imo.

              It still looks great on some cars but ***** when your the person infront of you especially with you in a truck, your lights are gonna blind!

                no one has flashed me yet but i had a couple people in front of me flip their rear view mirror to night mode
