  • Flex Foam Pads ???

Hey all, I am thinking about giving the flex foam pads a shot. I have been using the megs pads as well as the LC pads. I was just curious if anyone has been using the Flex pads and what their opinions are. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Oh ya, I will probably be using them primarily on my rotary as i really like the LC pads for my DA. Thanks again.

Hi Tracy. At first I did not like the Flex foam pads (which are the same as the Autogeek's Cobra Cross Groove pads) when I used them with a 6" backing plate on the DA. Because I am accustomed to using LC pads, I thought that the Flex foam pads were of poor quality.

After using the pads with the 5" backing plate, I found it easier to work with. They are also very pleasant to work with on the rotary as well because the cross grooves reduce hopping at slower speeds.
