  • SEMA 2009 Pictures

As many of you already know Mark Kleis and myself had the great opportunity to be part of the Car Crazy SEMA crew and it was a blast.
I didn't really have alot of time to take pictures so here are a few that I did take.

    Hennssey Camaro

    Challenger

I had the honor of taking a picture and talking a little with George Barris. I just have to add that he is so cool in person. Bat Mobile, Hillbillies, and the Dragula from the Munsters are just a few of his creations. Built cars for Elvis, Sonny & Cher and Bob Hope as well.

The Wounded Warrior Camaro. Carmen is a cool kat and this is his daily driver. Does a great cause for our soldiers

    Plymouth Fury

Mark removing the cover a Calloway Corvette

#41 Iacocca Edition Mustang. If I'm not mistaken there were only 50 made

Side shot of the Hennessey Camaro

    Calloway Shot

Reese Calloway with Barry Meguiar. Reese is a down to earth person very cool.

The couple (owners) were very nice and are from New Jersey.

Getting some of the cars up on the ramp was a challenge

But not impossible. The crew did an outstanding job.

This Mustang was insane. Alot of detail went into building this car and it showed.

    Meguiars Camera man

Replica of an Indy 500 race car. 1911 Marmon Wasp

During one of our breaks we took the opportunity to go visit Mike Phillips at his Autogeek booth. Mike Phillips took this photo of Mark and me.

Entrance to the West Coast Customs Experience

Ryan from West Coast Customs (anyone familair with the show?)

    Ish

Japanese Professional Race Driver "Tarzan Yamada"

Also met Bryan Fuller of 2 Guys Garage

Had a great time and I hope to do it again.

              Thanks for the photos!

You know what I find strange? despite being a HUGE fan of japanese cars- I always find myself staring at the american vehicles 5 times longer than the imports.

Is it because my 1969 Mustang is rotting in the driveway?

Thanks Clutch 34. Yeah they were there along with so many others. Chip Foose drove right passed Mark & me, Adam Coralla, Oh and while Mark, Nick & I were having dinner Suge Knight was sitting right in front of us, kind of weird.

Thanks Mudman. It's been a while since I cleaned up chrome bumpers and let me tell you, it was a great feeling. I agree, that mustang has to be the nicest I've ever seen. I know it's a bit overboard but it was so nicely put together that I simply loved it. I should have taken a picture of the interior it was insanely nice. I love older American cars.

LOL, we actually were lost looking for it. Good thing Autogeek is a distributor of Meguiars products as well. It was nice to see Mike Phillips again.

I'm going to have to try and go for at least a couple of days next year.
