I would hate to pack them up to protect them and the important ones are behind glass doors in the middle of a large entertainment center that is secured to the wall.

Don't even say earthquake! We had one not too long ago but I didn't feel a thing...

I guess if I lived out there, my nerves would be shot after a few strong tremors.

We had a quake in NC back in the late 60's, and I remember the whatnots shaking on the shelves....It was a spooky experience to say the least.
