    How can I make a quick $3000?

    ...LEGALLY lol! I just found a super deal on an awesome used truck, although its $3000 more than I can afford at the moment, but its such a good deal that I know I am going to regret it if I miss it. I know I could take out a loan, but I would like to stay away from mr banker. My boss would spot me the money but then I would never hear the end of it and he would make me feel like I owe him my life, any genius ideas? ....In all seriousness I will probably take out a loan, but if anyone has any ideas for a guy who would rather work his rear off than borrow? <---that would be me if I got it!

    There are options, but it depends on time. If you need the money asap go with a loan.

    I made alot of money during school by donating blood or plasma, alot of details, small side jobs etc.

        How fast do you need it? I would assume since you are looking at a vehicle for sale, you need the money, well, now. With the exception of selling some big ticket item, I can't think of anything legal you could do to make that much money that fast. If there was something, we would all be doing it!

          I think a loan is your only option besides selling something worth $3000 right away. I wouldn't borrow money from anybody, it just makes things tense and then your asking for that person to ask to borrow money from you down the road sometime.

            The fact that your boss is willing to loan you the money does not make him sound like a bad guy either, I think I would do that before I got a loan since you could always work out something with him that will allow you to only pay some of the money back and work off the rest or something like that.

            Or If I were you I would just detail as many things as I could. Try and find anyone who wants their boat or RV detailed, or detail some cars to at least put something together.

              How about taking the loan from the bank. Do extra details on the side, throw that money on the loan to pay it back early. You build good credit, got the truck you want and you are not beholding to your boss.

                Thanks for all the quick replies, I thought I was going to get flamed for asking such a silly question, but hey, its the truth. I think what I will do is a combination of your ideas, sell my tent trailer and a couple other things I have stashed away and do some detailing for a guy I know that sells used cars on the side and borrow the remainder from my boss and work alot of overtime to pay it back to him before he asks me for a kidney..or my right arm lol....If I get this truck I am talking about you will see what I mean when I post pics and what I paid for it...
