  • Smaller Buffing Pads

I was strolling threw Fall Carlisle car and parts show in Carlisle Pa. and stumbled by a vendor with a little jem of a 4 in buffing pad kit.

So untill Meg's comes out with one this one IMHO is the best I have seen and tested.

    4 IN DIA
    yellow heavy cut pad
    peach med cut pad
    white polish pad
    black wax pad
    4 in backing pad
    5/8-11 drill adpt.
    5/16 D/A adpt.

And the best part $ 25.00

Everything is very well made and I just love the pad size for those hard to reach places and the duel versatility of D/A and cordless drill adpts.

The kit is from Adams Polish

Nice find for 25 bucks. I have a set myself, but mine was not purchased from Adam's, but directly from Buff & Shine, the maker of this particular kit.

You got the kit for a great price! I am unable to judge, but how do the yellow and orange cutting pads in this kit compare to the Lake country yellow and orange in terms of aggressiveness? They use the same color-coding, but very different materials.

            That's a great kit & a good buy!

            Very handy.

Probably cost about $100 here!.... I can't figure out things over here?

            Thanks for sharing.

It must be the cost of the boat ride over

The funny thing is, I did the exact same thing to my lawn mower. Red and everything. Only difference is I used the Buff and Shine 3 in. pads and I was a bit older.

Works excellent when it comes to waxing or polishing door jams and certain license plate areas.

To our brothers from across the pond,

Adams products are basically relabeled ChemicalGuys products. If your interested in them look at the Chemicalguys UK site. They sell the pads individually for £6.

Never used the Hex pads but I like the small Uber spot buffing pads from DD.

Should I be filling my suitcase to the top with pads for my dream Italy vacation?

Sorry it was a show special but even 29.95 is a great price for this kit.

Look, I hate to discuss non-Meguiar's products on MOL, but since Meguiar's doesn't sell 4" pads I figure that it's an okay to talk about it...

you could build this similar kit at ADS for around $25.
