Last night was nuts!

I was trying to sleep and I kept noticing random flashes. I almost thought it police lights. So I walk outside and see a nice storm a-brewin. My roomate came out after me to watch the storm. We heard what sounded like a distant gunshot, then I noticed a some of smoke coming from around the corner, I thought it was just a powerline.

So we ran down stairs and saw TWO cars on fire. It was a prelude and a civic.

Thats nuts! Any word what caused the fires? Lightning?

We had the same line of storms move across the Dallas area last night. Tornado sirens were going off at my house in Grapevine. Never seen clouds like that before. Normally they make a circular motion when theres a tornado brewing, last night they were doing a barrel roll. Weird stuff! Went from 85* to about 60* in less that 5 minutes when that line moved through!

No word yet on what started it. Some people are thinking arson- someone shot the g tank on the prelude and set it on fire... But that doesn't make much sense.

No. I didn't get a good look at the clouds. There is a lot of trees in the complex. I bet it sure was a sight.

The civic driver goes to UTI, poor dude had to ride in my roommate's old dirty Buick today.
