Anybody know what happened to cardriver?

Well, I was trying to contact him through PM, but apparently he got "self-banned". He seems like a nice chap and all... what exactly did he do? I wasn't following his every post and I am a little baffled as to what happened.

If a seemingly nice fellow could get himself banned that easily, I guess I am on extremely thin ice as well lol...

Not sure if this is why he got banned but he always would talk smack about the Soft Buff 2.0 Polishing pads.

Yeah, he doesn't like the Softbuff 2.0 pads very much, although he is a big fan of almost all the other Meguiar's products.

I had noticed that he got banned as well, though I couldn't figure out why. I checked his recent posts and didn't see anything that raised a red flag, sooooo...not sure what happened.

Without going into much detail, it appears that cardriver had a bad day and did something really foolish... and got caught.

This whole thread is inappropriate.

If Meguiar's has banned someone, that means that there is a good reason. Since I personally was involved in the making of the rules for this Forum with Mike Phillips, I can assure everyone, a person is not banned without a VERY good reason. Meguiar's takes pride in making sure everyone is treated fairly which I made sure of while being the Super Moderator of MOL.

If someone has a question, please contact Mike Stoops as he is the Admin. But whatever has transpired between the individual and MOL, is between those parties only. Let's please respect that.

If Meguiar's has banned someone, that means that there is a good reason. Since I personally was involved in the making of the rules for this Forum with Mike Phillips, I can assure everyone, a person is not banned without a VERY good reason. Meguiar's takes pride in making sure everyone is treated fairly which I made sure of while being the Super Moderator of MOL.

If someone has a question, please contact Mike Stoops as he is the Admin. But whatever has transpired between the individual and MOL, is between those parties only. Let's please respect that.

After two minutes this thread was created, Michael Stoops very kindly and politely clued me in as to what really happened in PM. He was very humorous as well.

Of course, my original post was worded in a humorous style for comic relief.

I think that most of the people who constituted in this thread were more curious as to what happened rather than questioning the rules of MOL.

Anyway, I guess we should move on and forget about the issue.
