It's north of Lancaster City on Pa Rt 72 right before you get into Manheim.
It's usually only reserved to dealers though, but I think they might do public auctions once or twice a year. It's like the Barret-Jackson of daily drivers except there's no spice to it. They have a huge hac....um recon center but it's for the auction only.

I happen to be in PA at the moment, what is this place? Is it an annual event?

Our Pro Sales group works very closely with Mannheim. If you've ever heard talk of a dealer "sending a car to auction" when they take it as a trade in, odds are good it's going to a Mannheim auction facility. There are several around the country and they basically auction wholesale vehicles to dealers. The number of vehicles they process in a single day, at a single facility, is staggering. Think of 4 to 8 lanes of cars moving through a huge building in sort of an assembly line superhighway. As each car gets to or near the front of the line a group of technicians clean the interior and machine buff the exterior. For the really bad situations a rotary buffer is used, but in most cases the cars are gone over with a G110 and PRC. They crank the cars out very quickly and, while obviously not going for a show car shine, they do a very nice clean up/transformation on the vast majority of them.

It would be cool to have a Meguiar's outlet next to the other ones so when our wives/girlfriends (mom?) go to the outlets, we can hang out!

On the other hand, I have a local parts guy that said he would order and match anything I want when I get going if I decide to detail on the side full time.....

Get with your local parts guys. My local auto parts guy knows my voice on the phone! Helps that I've been going to the same guy for 20+ years!

The local discounters around here (Meijer, WalMart, AutoZone, etc.) carry the consumer lines, and the paint supply stores like FinishMaster carry the Professional lines. I can generally get almost everything but the APC and some obscure products.

This is a great idea. They can use Italy as a marketing testing ground .
