    Birthday coming up, help me make a gift list :D

    My birthday is coming up. I'm putting together a gift list for my wife. I figure I can round out my meguiars products. What products do I still need for the exterior, and since I have no interior products what should I get there? (cloth interior)

    Here is what I have:
    NXT 2.0 paste
    show car glaze #7
    heavy cut cleaner #4
    smooth surface clay kit
    hot rims multi-piece
    quick wheel detailer
    2 jugs gold class car wash
    3 x supreme shine MF towels (not counting the clay kit one)
    1 ultimate wipe
    1 meg water magnet towel
    4 x vroom MF towels
    1 microfiber sponge
    2 homer buckets
    werner 20" work platform

    I would definitely pick some Ultimate Compound, Swirl X, more Supreme Shines, applicator pads, some glass cleaner (you can get the 32 oz. sampler of the Detailer glass cleaner for $6.99 - that will make 2 and 1/2 gallons of glass cleaner), Ultimate Quik Wax, some sort of quick detailer for doing wipedowns (Last Touch would be perfect because you can use it for wipedowns or dilute it 1:1 and use it for claying), tire shine (Endurance is an excellent choice). As far as the interior goes, what level of shine do you want on your interior plastics? You might go with Supreme Shine, M40, or Natural Shine depending on the level of shine you want. Also make sure you have some carpet cleaner and/or some sort of cleaner (APC would be good for both needs because it is so versatile). Hope this helps!

      More towels, UC, SwirlX, Grit Guards, an APC, glass cleaner, interior products, exterior dressing, metal polish....

            Thank you for the replies. When it comes to the misses, she typically only shops at brick and mortar stores. For some reason she hates to order gifts online. Most of the stuff is available at auto parts stores or target, though.

            As far as the interior goes, what level of shine do you want on your interior plastics?
            I would say just a deep "new vinyl" look, but it don't want it to be greasy.

              That would sound like Natural Shine, but if you have a lot of texture, Supreme Shine may still work.

                Forget about the gift list. Ask for as much money as you could from the wifey. (A gift list does not maximize your gain)

                Once you've got the cash, we will tell you what you can blow it on

                Perhaps you could throw a rotary and a couple dozen of foam pads in there if you ask for enough money

                  I put a lot of the consumer products on my list, things that she can buy at autozone or target. ScratchX 2.0, ultimate compound, etc.. That should round out my product catalog pretty well. At some point I will get a buffer but this should get me started.

                  Just placed an order at ADS today of mainly detailer line products and other items hard to get locally.

                  1 x Meguiars ultimate wipe
                  24 x ADS blue premium microfiber
                  1 x Meguiars water magnet
                  3 x Meguiars supreme shine
                  32oz D120 glass cleaner concentrate
                  32oz D108 super degreaser
                  32oz D170 hyper dressing
                  32oz D130 body solvent
                  1 gallon D103 All purpose cleaner plus
                  1 gallon D155 last touch
                  2 x blue grit guards
                  And a bunch of extra detailer bottles/sprayers.
                  Free duffle bag too!

                    are you currently working by hand? if so, more applicator pads. why don't you invest in a d/a (g110 or similar)?

                        Yes I am working by hand currently. I have four of the soft foam applicators. Before I joined MOL a few months ago I had zero meguiars products, so I am just getting going. Probably before the year is out I will get a g110 or similar.

                          Well good news.. I think I convinced her to get me a meguiars G110. Flex 3401 is harder to justify.
