It's a nick I used back in my video gaming years. It came from a goblin like character in the good old game Stonekeep. I don't use it anymore, but I'm stuck with it.

Back around 1991 a VW Collector was referred to me by a customer and he bought,collected and sold VW Turbo Diesels. Turns out he was an Engineer and gave me 3 PAGE LIST ON LEGEL paper of how he wanted he car detailed.

I got real nervous but took the job. He called himself
Stan Bodan The VW Man.

When he came to pick up his car he told me I was the 1st to follow his list to the letter and even a few things he never thought of, So he dubed me
The Shyneman. and it stuck.

That's my story and I am sticking to it.LOL

In the real world, I work with 737 series aircraft. So basically it's an aircraft ID # with my initials at the end.....n737nc

I picked up the bass guitar a few years ago after hearing my friend Igor play some jazz tunes. In the beginning, I was horrible, but I used to think I played well, but many people laughed at me when I played. So I kept on practicing many hours a day for two years, and during these years I never played once in public, so people had no idea that I even kept up with this bass guitar hobby. One of the songs that I worked very hard on was Victor Wooten's Amazing Grace, and I used to stress over this song and get angry at myself for not perfecting it... But two years later, I formed a band and started jamming just for fun, then played at some charity events, and eventually paid gigs, and during one of them, I paid Amazing Grace and everyone was shocked to say the least. One day, I was hanging out with a few one of my friends, and my friend Steve said "Hunter's an amazing bass player," and then my friend Dan, who has listened to me play many times said, "Hunter's an Amazing Grace Player." and April 23rd is my birthday.

It is my nickname at work, a shortened modified of Belknap (my last name).

I used Nappers as a Delta Force 2 player when I was on 3 different squads, The Chosen, Legion of Knights and I.M.F.

Those were the days of playing DF2 with dial up....."LAGGER" LOL
