Awesome video! I'd like to try longboarding. I did some short downhill boarding in Austin a few years ago.
Steep hill, regular board, no pads, no helmet. One word to explain it: fun!

I was probably going about 30mph before launching myself into a yard... I wasn't about to try to stop in a normal fasion.

Yeah, they just got it, its awesome. They have mounts for their helmets, boards, they are really neat

I hope they're gonna wear some knee pads, if not leather and full racing helpmet.
At those speeds, scraping on the ground at those speeds from falling on those things is no different from losing control on a motorcycle.

Crazy is right!

Those GoPro cameras are pretty awesome. I've got one and have used it during a track day on the road course at California Speedway and got some pretty cool footage. One of these days it'll go up on YouTube...... one of these days.

I get on them for it, when the race and go faster than 45 they put on their leathers, My brothers are good about it, some of these other guys have me worried.
