I recently got into road biking and I was just wondering if anyone here rides as well.

Re: Any road cyclists here?
Paul (aka the other pc) rides regularly and I raced quite a bit throughout the 1990s. Still have 4 fairly high end bikes sitting in the garage to this day, even though I last turned a pedal almost 10 years ago.
If you're looking for some tips, pointers, help, etc I'm sure there are a few here who can help you out.Michael Stoops

I ride!
I've got a Cervelo Soloist that I was planning on racing with about 2 years ago, but never did, and I've also got a Giant OCR2 that I occasionally commute on. My Father has been riding the soloist for the past 8 months or so since his bike was wrecked when he was hit by a car last April. If a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody there to record the event, how can you be certain that there was a tree or even a forest to begin with?

The last time that race was held, our company allowed us to stand by the roadside and catch a glimpse of the peloton as it passed by. That goes to show you that there is an interest here in the sport.r. b.

I like to watch the Tour de France every year.
I used to watch. Like any other sport today. Too much money!
The thing that disappoints me most of all about the cycling,is the overwhelming use of drugs.(I don't include Armstrong, though,as he had cancer and is a great champion.I believe his case was medicinal.)
I just call it the 'Chemical Tour'

I USED to cycle a lot... road bike during the week to keep in shape for mountain biking on the weekend. Those were the days BEFORE I had a house/yard and 4 cars to maintain. Ah, the simple life...R. Smith
