I tried that as well as going to a muffler shop to ask for piping modifications. Because of how the GReddy exhaust is designed and the excessive components underneath the vehicle, it's not going to fit at all. If I had to lower the tip, then I'd have to lower it a good 4 inches to get it below the bumper.

Also what's a good grit sand paper to use? I'm thinking 900 grit. Should I go narrower?

Finish off finer than 900. You don't see them in my photo,but there are a couple of sanding marks. I would reckon 1200-1500 should be okay. Another thing you'll need to consider is what type of paper..Normally you would use wet/dry paper. Can you get Meguiar's unigrit?

Probably not seeing as how it's going to take a few days for Meguiar's to ship it to their distributors. Is there a difference between the regular sandpaper and Meguiar's unigrit?

I don't get Meguiar's unigrit here.It's up to you if you want to order it? I don't think you'll have any bother.

You'll have to go to a bodyshop outlet for correct paper. What is important is that it is of the wet/dry type and you should get some various grades while you are there. Get yourself several sheets of each: 600,1000/1200,1500,2000 and 2500. That is a kind of normal range that you would want to keep around for any kind of work. Normally these papers have a latex backing,so they can be soaked in water. You might want to consider getting a couple of backing pads while you are there. This will help you on any flat surfaces.
You won't find these kind of paper qualities in DIY stores(I don't here),so better to go to a proper outlet.

BOBA, I just joined forums and do a lot of mods for personal satisfaction. If you use a dremel, can get small cut-off wheels ( usually in kit )... VERY careful because as someone mentioned, could end up with out-of-line line, but can dremel with stone to straiten up if needed. If using same color paint, hard to match usually. If going with something like black, will show every scratch. I've used Duplicolor etching primer on plastic, etc. with no problems at all. Rustoleum makes a plastic primer so that you can use ANY rustoleum paint over it. I've also used Rust' Universal paint - LOVE IT - directly on plastic ( ABS ),.. looks better as time goes on - cuz it takes a long time to dry. Maybe check into what Universal colors are out ( HOMEDEPOT ) and may make the work easier... except for drying time. Sand well with fine grit - 400 - 1500 as steps progress and finish with color of choice. Patience is the key - can do anything with the right mndset. Jim.

Update: Did the trimming with dremel and it turned out GREAT. No need for paint. Thanks to those that have helped me - Eddie & Jimbo
