  • Any automotive funnies?(true)

1.Had a friend at work, years ago with an old Ford Capri. He turned up at work and showed me his wheels. He had welded the nuts! He was worried about getting them stolen. He said "That'll show 'em....They'll not be able to get them off!"

2.I read in a local newspaper about an old woman who was concerned about her engine feeling the cold at night in the winter. She opened the hood and covered it with a blanket! The next morning she started her car and drove off and then the hood started smoking out the sides.Anyway the firemen put the fire out and she was okay.

3.National newspaper in the UK. This guy was fed up with his car getting stolen,so he devised an anti-theft device? He made up an extra long HT lead that ran to his fuel tank with a plug. Whenever he parked his car at night,he would disconnect one lead and attach the long cable!! (If I remember well the guy went to jail for doing this).

That's hilarious because of one thing.

My old friend had an integra and one of his signal lights didn't work. So we told him "Did you check your blinker fluid?" and he was like "Oooohhhh yeahhh... Why didn't I think of that?"

He eventually learned there was no such thing and it's been a 5 year running joke lol

Done the blinker fluid thing to some girls at work. Almost all of them became very serious about it.

This one has been told many ways over the years, here's the latest:

A lady comes in and in the local auto part store and asks the people
behind the counter for a seven ten cap.

We all look at each other and ask, "What's a seven ten cap?"

She says, "You know, it's right on the engine. Mine got lost somehow
and I need a new one."

"What kind of a car is it?" they ask. Now I'm thinking maybe an old
Datsun Seven Ten, but no, she says that it's a Buick.

"Okay, Lady, how big is it?"

She makes a circle with her hands about 3 1/2 inches in diameter.

"What does it do?" we ask.

She says, "I don't know, but it's always been there." One of us gives
her a note pad and asks her if she can draw a picture of it. So she
makes a circle about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and in the center it had 710.

One guy says, "I think you want an oil cap."

She says, "Seven Ten cap, oil cap, I don't care what you call it. I
just need one, and I don't see what is so funny about it."

              Yes, she was a blonde.

If you read "710" upside down, it spells OIL!

              Old Joke but still funny.

This site always gives me a laugh. They "sell" blinker fluid and other things like polishing pads with metal wear indicators and kits that consist of nails to pop your tires to lower your car.

I saw this at my mechanics, some lady ran over a box spring, and it ended up wrapping in the transmission. It was a mess

                          Re: Any automotive funnies?(true)

                          I've got an automotive funnies...

Last week, I sold a pair of 18" tires to another local BMW enthusiast. He's pretty nice and I have nothing against him or anything. Before the transaction took place, he inspected the tires very thoroughly and knew about ONE of the repair spots on one of the tires. He offered me a reasonable price based on the condition of the tires, which I accepted.

A week later, he told me that he decided to get some brand new winter tires instead and requested me for a refund. He reasoned that I should refund him the money because the tires were previously repaired, which he knew before we undertook the transaction. He called my mobile 7 times in a row in an hour. I don't know, but that's really funny to me. I showed him the invoice of the tire repair performed by an authorized BMW dealer. He still wanted a refund. So I explained to him that I did not break any of the sections or subsections in the Canadian Sales of Goods Acts published by the Crown. Then, out of good will, I offered to refund him the amount I could sell them for. He then complained about my offer and did not email or call me again.

                          Seems funny to me... -_-;
