  • Finally Yay!!!!

    Gang,

Finally got my hands on some M95/M105/M205 and for kicks, I got some Last Touch and some M66 to try out. I got two bottles for my LT, one for straight and one for mixed 1:1.

From what I understand.....from memory, it is not as strong as M105 but it's good stuff from what Nick has said and couldn't hurt to get a bottle and it's cheap!

        Can't wait to try it.

Kevin Brown sent me a sampler of the M105 DA approved and I like it so far. Having been using M83/M80 for so long, I need to practice with these new SMAT stuff.

I like the smell of the LT, got me bottles of straight and 1:1 ready to go!

        TTFN!

Yeah I really regret not getting the gallon of LT, i only got the sampler size which IMO is way more than a sample, but I plan on playing with the 105 and 205 this weekend, I have been getting good results, but i am always strapped on time, so smaller work spaces!

I've really only played with M105 with plastic and using by hand in isolated places with heavier scratches.....

I finally broke down and got LT as I use a lot of the QD for claying and figured, if I could get a lot of clay lube using LT 1:1 then it's money ahead. I also read a ton use it as a quick detailer as well. I love QD but it's about 8.99 a bottle of the 32 oz special at Schucks(Kragen/O'Reilly/Checker etc).

I've been working all day on the Yukon, just a quick wash, UQW and busting out the headlights with wetsand, M105 and PlastX. It's been a long day.

              Also cleaned the engine bay......

              Big beast the Yukon is!

Thanks Tuck BTW, couldn't wait to get some of the new SMAT stuff from the MG line! I am stuck on M83/M80 with so many new members coming aboard and me not able to give my $.02 worth on the new stuff as I just haven't used it enough, now I can use it and give some advise!

                Re: Finally Yay!!!!

M95 and M105 have the same cut rating of 12- they just work and "feel" different. M95 is more akin to a traditional tan compound of yore, and the M105 is a faster working white product that may seem foreign to old school body shops or detailers.

Both are great, great products... they just do their work in slightly different ways.

Between M95 and 105, which one is better for removing wetsanding marks?
