Got into a motorcycle accident

hey guys i have not been on here in a while but i have been busy with other things, one thing would be is that i had a little accident with my ZZR600, I am fine only a couple of scrapes an bruised my ribs, the bike is not ridable at the time, how it happened was i was at a stop sign and i went no traffic or anything and i was with a buddy he was on his bike and he already went, but hit a gravel patch or a slick spot and the bikes rear tire got loose and started to slide out so i applied a little more throttle and started to starighten it out but i lifted throttle and the bike snapped and i got high sided, but the accident was 15 MPH or less. i have new parts on the way, new lower fairing upper fairing, rear fairing, clutch handel, gear shift lever, foot peg, coolant resivior and a couple of bolts, it will look brand new again in a couple of days.

yeah most bike accidents happen at low speeds, i would have been fine if i did not lift throttle as what my other friend said to me who races bikes. it was one of those bad days, nothin much i could have done because i have not experienced that kind of problem, even though i have over 30k miles of riding experience. my dad told me it was one of those things were that the road looked fine but it was like black ice it was hidden and nothin much i could have done he said.

Well, at least you got it out of the way with something minor like that! Still ***** (oh yeah. Starts with s and ends with s, figure it out) though. Hope you are getting better, if you aren't already!

Thanks guys, i am feeling much better but my ribs are killing me still i am glad i did not crack them.

so i got my parts in today, so i have everything to start making it look new again. i will take pics of my process of taking it apart and reassemble of the bike.

glad to hear your safe from that accident, I've seen people have the same experience of you, but some of them hits the throttle too hard because they are panicking, and things turn worse...
Hope you get a speedy recovery and the same goes with your bike..

Thanks guys, i am doing better, my ribs still hurt but they will be sore for a while. i am going to start tearing the bike apart tommorow after work.
